In our life's journey, we have friends. A girl friends and a boy friends. But not girlfriends or boyfriends. See the difference of the two? I know you know. Or unless if you are a psychopath or what, it is your lifestyle but it's really great having friends, alright one girlfriend or one boyfriend is great when it comes to a relationship. The true and honest one. Having said that, each would know each other better, trust more. And when it comes to special occasions or even just an ordinary one that you maybe grateful or just thank him/her for being faithful, cheap girlfriend gifts but quality and meaningful one would do the talking of one's heart. Of what one would like to let him/her feel as of that moment. It makes a difference when there's something that you could hand-on to your special girl. Ah, boys are good with that. And it's not bad. It brings more the image of being romantic and being thoughtful. Every girl loves that!

How do you like to have a gadget of your own? Well, I guess you already have a lot of gadgets at your hand and your own. That's awesome! You might have laptop or desktop computers, or both. Ipad is now in but top netbooks makes difference too. It isn't always the "in" thing but how quality and important it is on your activity, isn't it? I would like to have netbook one day but this time, my notebook is fine. This didn't acted-up bad, only sometimes the Internet connection or some stuffs that I didn't update went something. Its memory is not that big so I have to delete the unnecessary files and alike. I've been thinking of changing this stuff into new one but then not now. Baby is coming, we just moved in and a lot of stuffs going on and have to buy. Just recently I had been bugging DH to buy me another TV because I saw a very good deal online. Couple of days past and I seriously told him the reasons why and I couldn't be happier, the 26" LCD TV arrived lately which I could use as a TV and a pc monitor. :-) Ah, netbook talk journey up to some stuffs. It is really great to have netbook on top of the line, right? I couldn't say more because, it is!

When will be your anniversary? Well, it doesn't matter when actually. As long as you do not forget it. Made/make a plan in advance to surprise your behalf is great to know you have something prepared for. Every anniversary celebration is great, 5th anniversary gift baskets on your 5th is also awesome for you to do it. I do not know if you are celebrating everyday on your love but for me, anniversary is special and essential. :-) Well, it does not need to be expensive. It is just that you will make your partner special! Thoughtful gestures, as they say. So then, have an advance anniversary for you two! Have a great one. ~hugs&kisses~

How was your valentines celebration everyone? Ours (hubby and I) was just a simple one. I whispered unto cupid that I only want fresh flowers this valentines and it was granted, thankfully! I only want economical this time. I do not know what comes to my mind (perhaps because we will be three on the coming months) but that is only what I want. Period. :-) Cupid was very good as maybe he/she whispered it too to my dear husband. At afternoon sharp, I was surprised DH went home carried a fresh flowers in a vase (I love it because I do not need to put and arranged it unto our vase, yey! Bonus point. Happy me!) I then make sure I had something for him to be fair. I look for a coat and cap which he would like to have but I cannot find it unto the store nearby to which I headed to the other stuff I planned. Chocolates, balloon and valentines card for my ever dearest. And I did it though he came home before me. :( Nonetheless because my effort worth it, he likes what I gave. Indeed, a happy valentines day for us! Ended up a dinner at home which is great!

January 12, 2011

Marked the date as 01.11.11 yesterday. It was also the first time I made a roasted chicken with a piece of turkey ham sandwich loaded with pickles, lettuce, cheese, sandwich spread and of course two slices of bread. DH decided to buy ingredients for such sandwich for him to bring to his office for morning snack. It was the other night he bought it from the favorite store that we shop regularly, it's Ralph's. I had to figure it out how to do arrange it as I just usually made a tuna sandwich which I only put tuna and sandwich spread. No need for me to browse on the Internet, read recipe book or whatsoever alike but just to look at the cover of the turkey ham and do the twist since it only comprises of  lettuce, folds of turkey ham (more of four or five pieces folded) and a slice of big tomato. So what I did for my own version provided with the ingredients which DH bought was put a half of lettuce piece and beautifully fold it in half, then put slices of roasted chicken meat (without its skin, I remove it), then sandwich spread. I then put one thin turkey ham. Over with turkey ham is a halves of pickles (three halves to occupy its space) then a piece of small square cheese. And done! I then put in two pieces of table napkin and put it in a storage freezer bag or with-a-sealed plastic small bag then the last pouch is the brown sandwich bag which I put it inside. Another thing to go with it (which I put it inside the storage freezer bag is the pringles. Nope, he does not want to bring all the high can but just some of it. So for me, that is the highlight of 01.11.11 for me. What about you?

Here in USA. Here beside my husband's arms. Hehehe! Okay, here in our home, apartment rented home. So glad my travel yesterday was safe. By the way, I am currently using my husband's PC checking and a little write-up at the same time trying to figure out how to continue reformatting it using my drivers. Angelie did great of reformatting this but just have to adapt my place here especially the Internet network, have to connect it. Some drivers are lacking so I have to put it back on. For now, I do not have the guts of doing those things maybe tomorrow or the next day(s). With that, I expect no glory too. Ha! I still have to uploads tons of pics so the extended family back in the Philippines can see it, that is what they are after as of this moment so I may put it in Facebook first then go on with my other backlogs. For the meantime, I will be checking-in my emails and if I have task to do. I will be busy! Busy as a bee! Buzzzzzz.

(This post wasn't published as only half was done. This wasn't published unto its original date wrote but the original date remains it is. Just so if you  are wondering or maybe surprise if you subscribe on my RSS feeds or through email subscription.)

(Guest post written by Kimmy Dawson)

When me and my fiance signed the papers and bought our apartment together, we moved a lot of our furniture from both of our old apartments in there as a temporary thing.

We've been spending a lot of our time leading up to our wedding registering for stuff for our apartment online after we settled on one of the DIRECTTV internet deals we found when we moved into the new place. There are a lot of things that we need for our apartment that you can't exactly register for, like a couch. But we're just going to see what everyone buys us and has shipped before and right after the wedding before we start buying big pieces like that. However, we're finding a lot of things that will surely come in handy once we're married and I'm a little more domestic, like a salad spinner. I didn't even know those things existed until I bought off the registry for one of our friends that got married this summer. But I was so impressed with it that I knew we needed one too. We don't have a whole lot of kitchen stuff so that's mainly what we're concentrating on. Our place has a good sized kitchen too so we actually have storage space now.

DH gave me an opportunity to buy vegetables, fruits and other grocery goods different from what he usually eat. It is for me since I wanted it for my moody taste. It is great to have foods which my taste bud used to ate way back then. Yes, I have adapted most of what he ate but I still longing to have such taste. Ooh well. What can I do? It is my taste bud longed for it but how I can have it depends on myself with the help of my DH since it is quiet far from where we live and it is great to have him drive for me than taking a bus or ride a public transportation. Yes, I do not drive and I do not have a car but I am contented. I have my need and I comprehend it is better for me not to have one currently. Perhaps one day or sooner as it comes what may, you never know. Ha ha! You may think I am in US and I do not have a car, poor me(fortunately my DH has), but I do not care! Kiver (expression)! Ha! ;-) Okay, no pressure. ;-) Okay, I have to go ahead now and separate those leaves from the swamp cabbage's (or kangkong) [Thanks by the way to mareng Lulu for letting me know (unknowingly of her) kangkong is swamp cabbage] trunk which is the main ingredient for my viand in a minute.

That maybe hard but not difficult that difficult as you may think because there are many solutions out there just like RV loans, refinancing your RV and many more. Name it and you can have it but being just sure one has something to pay for its obligations, right? But anyway, just saying. I know you will not get a loan without any running income to pay in the future. One can tell of why you are having such RV and just have some financial problems for the meantime but good enough to pay it right. Talking about that, you may now have an option or go directly to where it is if you feel like it. See for yourself and quit worrying about your-about-to-postponed road trip. Happy trip then, enjoy and have an extra are! ;-)

Ouch! CSJ's author's stomach is in trouble. :( I can still feel the trouble whilst doing this post. It hurts and have my loose bowel movement from time to time. Thanks God that it does not occur as of this moment but I just keep here in front of computer rather than lying in bed hoping to get asleep. I know I cannot do it so to get a bit comfortable (or at least) at the same time of not disturbing my DH (his work for tomorrow at 5 a.m. wake-up is far more important than this), I just have to keep awake -- the better for this situation. As far as I can remember, this stomach trouble (pain, growling, gas dramas) started after I took a bath which was lately at approximately 10:30 p.m. (my time is pacific time), the LBM (or commonly called as diarrhea) started just more than 30 minutes ago and now it is already 2:34 a.m. (I got the time on my PC-- it is Eastern Time so I have to minus the time with three hours. The time difference is three hours behind Eastern Time). You do the math should you like.

Err, it may be gross to those who can imagine but sorry about it. I think it is not that gross as you may think but then again, sorry if it is. Now I can feel only just a bit. Thanks to God. As of this moment, I am multitasking. As I do my thing here in the computer at the same time ready to go comfort room, I am also cooking rice through rice cooker or the electric rice cooking. It is less hassle but I have to check the boiling water from time to time so the rice could be cooked at its exact time. After all, I am waiting of it as it is cook. I need to replace the food or fluid out.

While having the pain, I thought of what its cause why am having this. And it came to my mind, this is due to, first: it is very possible because of the birth control pills lapsed. Supposedly I have to take beginning four days ago, this day should be the fifth but for some reason my DH (with my fault too) forgot to get it in the pharmacy and all that problem or circumstances. First circumstances I got lapsed for four days and as expected this resulted to upset stomach though I just took it at my regular daily time today, nope, I did not took five pills in a row good for five days but just only one pill as in this day should I mark as my first day not my regular day of starting from now on. Yes, I have to expect the upset stomach. Oops, I have to disclose that some of my information about birth control I mentioned of this post should not be put on your mind or get your personal information through this because each one woman should consult a physician/doctor regarding this matter. This is just a note, we may have the same pattern but it is advisable to read your pills leaflet or if cannot comprehend, go to your doctor. Secondly, this upset (or troubled) stomach could be the reason because I did not have a good meal lately good for a dinner and I ate "ice cream shake and malts" to comfort the humidity I experienced lately. Nope, the weather is great but I just took for granted to took a bath, ooh well, my fault so I expect it (but that was better for the situation as to that moment but not advisable). So there you go it could be the first reason or the latter but possibly both. For now, my stomach does not command me to go for comfort after several went. Ah it must be tired. Ha! So I need to go for now to find something to eat (rice is already cooked, just have to find a viand for it) and after eating will rest for a while (will not sit but stand or the better if can have a soundless walk in our living room to and fro in our kitchen for about five to ten minutes then go to sleep. So then, thanks for reading. I have to go now for a journey of a several things to do, begins with a single step after this post. Our water will shut-off tomorrow starting from 11 a.m up to 3 p.m. so I have to save water for personal use in the comfort room as well as here in the kitchen, keep all the in-sinks clean and should all are in order with regards to water which also means to stacking waters completely good for four hours. The stacking of water and taking a bath should I have completely done before 8:30 and it is all-set. I need to have at least five hours of sleep. Time check for now is 3:19, can I manage my time management of waking up at 5 a.m to iron DH shirt for work? How many minutes should I have to budget to prepare food to eat or thinking what viand I have to prepare? Can I still have the minimum time of sleep which is five hours? I have to! Bye for now, I gotta go. ~hugs & kisses~

With today's living, there are many folks who are already working at-home and earns just like folks who are working outside or in a traditional office and some even earns more than. Well, I can never tell that working at-home is the best but I cannot also tell that it is worst because it depends upon what work one is having. I am not one of those folks but I am a bit earning as well, but just a little. Ooh well, I can never complain because I am a just a plain housewife who's work is to take care of my husband and our home. :-) To those who are earning well and have their work as just like an employee who works in a traditional office, having their office furniture is a must (if you want your work to have a serious workplace), after all it is one of their expenses of their business or the business of their boss, it can be just enough of what they can afford or depends upon what business they have. Office furniture like below is such cute when you have a good space in your house and a fix place, with that you would not need to worry for transfer seeing that it weighs a large of pounds. Yeah, it is pretty.

wooden office furniture (photo courtesy of an office furniture website)

What do you think? Is it cool or what.. :-) It is also great for just an study table or really, cool for a work-at-home job in your own house. A simple cute computer movable computer table below catches my eyes too.

computer table

This cute computer table is good because it is easy to move everywhere you want to put as in the case that you like to have a different shape of an area you are in. A person who likes to change its workplace is great to have this. Well, this kind of stuff is what I like before and what DH likes for me too but since I can't find like this, I was tempted to bought what I have right now. The problem is when we will move to other place, it is hard to bring this on unless it is just so close. It is kind of heavy. :-( Though I like what I have now but the cons seem like over the one above. Ooh well, I love my computer table now (this has a sentimental value), I hope I can bring this wherever we will transfer soon. :-( So then, good luck to me.. :-)

Mine, was a bit of low. I mean just normal but a lazy weekend. LOL... Ooh well, that is why weekend is a fave of mine.. he he he!.. I can be lazed as I want to. Ooh yeah, I was not able to finish my task. :-( Okay, during weekend hubby is in the house at that time and with that, I am not alone just like weekdays that he is at work. Thought I got used with it but it is still different. Also, hubby likes to spoiled me sometimes and so does me likes to spoiled him to the sense that he orders me an outside foods and I can cook him his fave breakfast foods and some other snacks and heavy meals, yeah I do that on weekdays but not much especially breakfast. DH does not eat breakfast when he is going to work unlike weekend. I am having a great weekend in a slow-pace mode. The thing was I haven't went to church yesterday because I forgot it. Ooh God, please forgive me. It was on my mind but I just remembered it in the neck of time. I was busy, ooh well it is not an excuse, I know. That is why there was really keep on hunting my mind but it cannot came out. That is why because of going to it. Ooh well, promise --- the next Sunday which is this Sunday coming I will really be prepared of it --- rain or shine. :-) Promise to the Heavenly God. Diary, keep it in memory.

What about you, how was your weekend?

April 02, 2010

I love all kinds and any colors of roses actually but red roses are the best. The husband brought me a bouquet of red roses with an art of white in between lately from his work and handed it to me while I was busy cooking for our dinner. And the wife was so happy. :) I put off the flowers from the bouquet and arranged it to our flower vase. I wanted to put it all with the bouquet and others but it's too big for it so I just arranged it heartily, as in chasing every minute of the beautiful very fresh red flowers.. :)

Roses are red.

By the way, this is his first time of giving me a bouquet of fresh flowers. Yep, that's true.. :) Ahhh.. the flower power that is.. :) Have a great Friday everyone! Smile... :)

April 01, 2010

Most said that March is March Madness, this month as April Fools... and I do not know what May is... but when I heard about the next month after April which is June is I could say "June bride".. heheheh.. definitely, it is a wedding month. Most folks like to be wed at June since for my own idea, it is summer. Certainly, it won't rain and there's no more mess than raining or some storm, right? So what this month would also be when talking about June wedding? Well, this is one of the month for planning like what could be the wedding favors are to be prepared, style, and other stuffs that compromises it. Since it is really great that a couple is already relax when it is already about to march for a special day as mark as their first day in God's unity, in the eyes of the public as well. I could not imagine how things are rush when stuffs are to prepare on an eleventh hour, isn't it? So good luck for the basic planning (since I know most couple like to put the most of the thinking to the wedding planner but the basic plan of course is from the couple)!

March 20, 2010

I forgot health care folks called the primary stuff that doctor or nurse use to get a blood pressure, I guess you know it, it is just on my mind but I can't utter the word. Just imagine what I mean. :-) ... I will tell you then what is that name later, okay? The important is I already describe it. I hope you understand what I mean. The choice number two nowadays is pulse oximeter device to get the blood pressure monitor or a blood-oxygen level and a heart rate of a person to monitor health condition usually used at home.

My DH and I even have like this at home but the one that has a cuff and put it at the left side of a joint between our hands and arm then it has to be leveled unto the heart of a person to get the heart rate through pressing the power button when done putting up carefully and accurately. But nowadays due to technology advance, little by little it was changed unto the latest one. Have you have a device in your home like that above?

mash potato, rice, meat, corn bread and red cake

That was a combo meal (with a white soft drink which is not seen in an image) my DH brought for me one day last month (February) during their celebration of Black History Month at his office workplace (Department of Public Works, Los Angeles area). I do not know if this is their signature food though.. :) but the thought of he brought me such is so cool for me. :) I love the foods as it tastes good to my sense especially that is has rice.. :) Anyway, it was my first time to eat such except the corn bread, rice and mash potato but as I said my taste bud liked it though I do not know the name of the cake which has the color red. It has a sweet taste but not that so sweet. Perhaps you know the name of it, would you like to tell me (if you know it)? I will definitely buy such cake if there's some store who sells it but unfortunately I haven't seen such cake in the place we live now and I also do not know if they buy it or home made, I will then ask my DH later. Hemmm.. as of now, I want to indulge myself eating it.. lol.. I have to stop myself or else... :-(... So then, have a fun food trip this Friday folks! What have you eaten there by the way? Could you spare me some.. heheh.. just kidding.. just share it then below should you like to do so... Have a great Friday as thanks God it's triday! Happy food trip! (~_~)

March 15, 2010

Weekend is over and now I have a manic Monday! --- It is not a problem though. :-) I am already charged for this another stressful week... (~_~). After having a two consecutive luxurious sleep (yeah sleeping makes me energetic), I am so happy to announce I am energetic again. :-) Yeah, that is all I want and I guess everyone does want that too. I hope you guys have your best of everything. And also I come to analyze the problem of my handy cam why there is no face detection I can find upon reading and reading on its manual. It was not specified there and I thought there was something I did that it did not showed up what has to show. Ooh my.. I was pissed a bit that time but glad I was able to analyze the problem after several attempts. I was happy then. One thing also that the weekend was a blast to me is it was because of the baptism of my "bessy" baby that I attended. It was really a fun one. We had laughs with the folks attended that it seemed we really were that already friends before. Several of them was my first met but we already clicked with our attitudes and that is the idea of laughing out loud... as in hahaha.. (LOL)... :-) even without that particular topic of discussions but we really can get what it was and just laugh without any hesitation and shyness. And also my DH showed in the last minute and also had a blast! It was such a very happy baptism celebration aside from the many different courses of different nationality of foods.. hehehe.. :-) From sea foods to beef, pork, chicken, desserts as well as exotic ones! Yep, from foods to laughs --- I/We had a blast! I would like to grab this opportunity to the host (or the family) and to the folks attended that made my day. :-)

How was yours folks? I bet you guys was having a great weekend bonding with family and friends as well.. How was it?

An aunt-in-law of mine who is the widow of my uncle started her business a year and a half ago. She has bakery business which she manages smoothly until now. She has one helper and her daughter also can help her doing some errands shopping for stuffs needed on her bakery day after day. It is not that booming but at least it is not also in down, she gets her basic needs on her bakery small business and thinks that is her livelihood having her life back. She said it is tough for her without my uncle on her side but that is life and she has to overcome it whatever happens. Things happen for a reason and I am glad she sharply put it in her mind behind all the trials she has. Since she has her small business which is bakery, she thinks of expanding its exposure through handing up business cards to her prospect clients on her cakes and breads trade. Since she is not working in government office, she sees to it that she has her business cards whenever she goes so she could give it to whoever wants to see and buy whatever she has in store for the buyers. Stuffs like that business card is important in business so the customers can get it and read anytime they want to. It has her business' telephone number, address and the products in her small store as like any other business cards you can see. I hope her for the best on her small business so she will be busy every now and then so she cannot think every minute of my uncle's presence as to say that life must go on and she has to do it for herself despite of the circumstances. I wish her all the best because she's one of a kind.

Ranunculus Asiaticus

If you only know how healthy and blooming plant is this days ago or if you are a plant lover, you will also feel the nostalgic I feel as I see this yellow Ranunculus Asiaticus plant (together with the red color flowers) dying day by day. I am sad because this has a lot of buds that are about to bloom yet it could not rise anymore. :-) I cannot help it but just hold and embrace the sad journey of my plant. I wanted to do something in order this to live but I can see that it will no longer as alive as I have this a while ago. All I have to do is just witness. :-) This is the second pot plant died here in my new place I called a second home in the care of my hands. I said to my husband that I will just buy another outdoor plant perhaps next week and it would be an outdoor lucky bamboo or a green cactus, in that way I am confident that it will last long because it is already proven by my care. I do not regret of buying this but to the point that I do not know how it looks like the image above, I do! Hmmm.. I have to comfort myself --- that is alright. :-) By the way, I have this plant on my hands during valentines day. It was only about three weeks. :-(

March 04, 2010

When there are a lot of people and only a little work to do, what would be the scenario? It is an economic status to which the demand is high but the supply is low --- this is the status of world economy nowadays or perhaps there are just people who are lazy enough to work hard? Which is which? We cannot deny that having a decent job is what everyone wants to have. Some rock of the family prefers or agreed as advised just to stay at home for the house and partner need, and that is not bad. Being with where you are happy and with the family/love one is the most important thing in this world as long as the partner is good enough to provide the need of the family. Being a homemaker (either a father or mother) is also a job, a decent job for a family. But when speaking about job itself, it means outside the home. Well, there are many jobs out there as long as you are working hard to find it and you have the skill to show then one is good to go with it. Often, we are looking for a job mogul to address what we are looking for. Good luck then with job hunting folks! I hope you all the best... :-)
