Love is the greatest gift of all we can have for Christmas but of course it is great to have the material things as we live in a material world. Oops, we have to give love not only for Christmas. Nah! It is most celebrated during this season that is why it is important to have something for your love one. Family and friends often exchanging gifts.  Many likes an idea of giving cell phones to their kids or family circle as this is important for communicating each other and often well-wished. Well, cellphones are expensive and mostly expensive stuffs are most looked or loved aside from it is precious to family. For me, I only want Christmas cards excluding from my hubby. He he he! Okay, I also allocate and reserve some idea too for him. It is not good to just receive and nothing to give (excluding to those who do not have really), agree? To everyone, advance merry Christmas and enjoy giving gifts!

Oops not so because Black Friday event is after Thanksgiving Day which is also the start of Christmas shopping. What good with Black Friday is a huge sale, yes, huge sale! You read it right. Now, what is your plan on Wednesday? Are you going to go with the crowd and buy the stuff(s) you like with a very low price? Happy Black Friday shopping then! Who among you in here still practices a customary hanging-up of stockings during Christmas as Santa Claus is coming? Well, I assume there are many still and mostly mommies does it for children are expecting such, well, not only children but adults too. And it is great when such are custom made Christmas stockings as it brings more beautiful when there are names on it. It is easy for Santa Claus to determine which name should he put the goodies in. Happy kids and adults! Merry Christmas indeed. :-)

Today (November 11) commemorates the veterans soldiers who fought for this country to have this country stand as what it has today. People who have/had made extraordinary effort should have to be commemorated, and this day is for those veterans. Indeed, we have to salute to them for without them, United States of America is not as what it has now.

I may not very knowledgeable about this history of whom they are/were but one thing I know is they have to be commended and honored. That is why today is a holiday. I was wondering lately of why my DH did not woke up as early as usual during weekdays then I knew (as looking up in the calendar since he did not told me, well, he wanted me to know by myself). :-)

And so, happy Veterans Day USA! Happy holiday!

November 01, 2010

This time, it is first day of November (and in any place, it is already November 2) and it is called as "All Saints Day" . In Roman Catholic, it meant as it is the day for all the saints whereas on the second of November, it is called as "All Souls Day" as to commemorate souls in heaven who are already out of this world and be on eternal life. And so, I am just greeting you a Happy Halloween!

It maybe awkward to Americans, but I had not been able to attend that "Trick or Treat" event by kids or with parents around in the neighborhood or any where friends and family is present. Hopefully, I can get to join such game or neighbor bonding with my child (if God will give it to me and my DH) and having a parade of Halloween costumes in the neighborhood with their basket where to put their treats. :-) Happy Halloween!

It is not me, not him, not you, but them (the couple) has a baby and being happy about it. Praise to the Most High of that. Being happy can be celebrated in many ways but one thing for sure is shouting it to family and friends through giving up birth announcements and I cannot agree more. Doing it simply voicing out and letting them know how the couple feel. Being a parent could be the happiest moment of the couple to those who expect it, so why not announce it, isn't it? Congratulations then!

Yes, today is October 10, 2010, triple ten as what you see. It is three 10 in a row. People are celebrating this date around the globe. Cebu Pacific Airline in the Philippines even have a promo fair this time which is for a trip next trip. And guess what, it is only P10 anywhere in the Philippines. Just being sure it is local time there once booking. By the way, it is for online booking only (for FYI). Ooh well. It is already a very big deal! Don't you think? If only I know this early, I may have told my cousin dear in Manila who wanted to go home next year aside from this coming December. Most folks booking at dawn time at this date as it is jam packed and its website. Thanks by the way to my Filipino plurk friends who told me about this through their walls, though it is already quiet late. But then this information quiet pretty being followed, maybe next year for 11-11-11 watch-out for it. It maybe only P11! Look also for other promos of that date. Don't forget the parties everywhere, if you are a party-folk! ;-) Have a blessed 10-10-10!

Neck ties are for men though when I was in high school, I wore neck tie as part of our school uniform so I could say it is not just for men. But usually it is intended for him. So how about bow ties? Bow ties are a family of neck ties, just the difference is it is of a bow form. It is short and horizontally shaped pattern after one tied it up on one's suit. So is it just for men or women? Well, as you can always see, male kids, waitresses, waiters, male graduates and any other men of mature ages wore it. So, the same as the former comparison, the neck ties, which are not only men and women. Of which it also connotes men does wear it more than men. It is such a neat and pretty good-looking when one wears it in a particular occasion as it is needed just as what I said above. Again, bow ties are for men and women! Have you wear a bow tie ever? How was it?

Who among you in here like to give gifts to your husband, wife, kids, family or friend? I guess, most of you. Don't you feel special when you receive a gift with your name on it? Hemm.. that must be sweet and a great feeling from you. Such giver maybe got it from personalized gifts for all occasions. What money is for by the way, right? ;-) Though it is a general thought that we have to be thrifty and such for rainy days but we should also not to forget that we live in a present. Gift need not be expensive. It does not need to be big and many. After all, it is the thought what counts. But of course, a need should be placed in the first place. You may like to give one for his/her need or such. :-)

I guess everybody likes lights, Christmas lights, when it is about Christmas time already. Well, specifically if it is already in "ber" months season. Unless if one is phobia on it, then he/she would not like it then. Now, it has been only one month then it will be September time. As the month speaks for itself, it is the beginning of a "ber" month. For some place, they won't put the lights yet, not until after thanksgiving day which is about a month (or 4th of Thursday of November this year in US) before Christmas day or second week of October in Canada. But of course it is great to inspect the stashed lights like C7 led Christmas lights and buy before the neck of time to save some bucks and getting rid of out-of-stock ones. Days from now I will then have to check mine too especially the c7 LED ones. I can just wish we have some plants and bushes but that is impossible for now since I can only decorate our specific unit not with the bushes which belong to the whole complex. Well, I hope one day I could have bushes to decorate outdoor Christmas lights too. I like both colorful and white Xmas lights anyway. :-)

Today is America's birthday. As in, this day is the day which every Americans, America residents or to those who are celebrating is commemorating the independence day which America was declared as a nation and got its name. Family and friends are gathering for a get-together, barbecue, dance, concert especially fireworks display and many more others as for the name of celebrating. Thanks to those who fought for their lives just for this nation to be freed from any circumstances to be declared as a great nation. Let us not forget but give back to those who give their all. Have fun! ~muahhugs~

I didn't really expect of it because I wasn't even yet give back to what she gave me last valentines day and now she sent me birthday gifts again. How was that? Won't you be surprised especially if her gifts are all gorgeous? Yep, I bet you it's pretty all awesome in person... I so love it that much that I can't help but so grateful of this blogger friend of mine, so grateful of her presence. Though we haven't yet meet in person but seems we were friends since back then... Ooh well.. it was just one year ago and in just one instance we're already clicked with each other. Do you know the feeling of friendship being "click" with each other? If you know, you can then tell how it is. Yep, it is not that easy to find a friend that you can be with each other, online that is, but you have that such friendship bond that more than an in person ones. Ooh well, she(Demcy)'s full of generosity, thoughtfulness and kindness. I appreciate it that much! Here's what she gave me.
a beautiful cute lavender(my fave color) and blue(color of the year) blouse

Above is another pretty cute lavender racer back shirt, look at the print (Friends fun and peace sign, this coincides with my jersey lavender jersey shorts --- great for hot summer)! Isn't it that pretty? Yes, it is! ;-) It's prettier in person, really it is.

Two pretty "TooFaced" glamorous lip glosses, lavender cute hooked earrings (which I wear until now, my ears are that choosy but this earrings suits its choosiness that's why it's my fave casual hook stone earrings plus it's gorgeous lavender color --- she got my weakness when it comes to pretty lavender ;-) Thanks a lot madam sis Dhemz!

And her beautiful lovely birthday card and a wonderful sweet message

I know words are not enough to express my gratefulness and no beyond expression I can tell but you know how lucky I am to have a friend like you. I know you are great but I have to say you are awesomely best. I really appreciate your kindness and such ({I hope to keep up on your birthday... ;-). I know that if you give, you don't expect in return but I will try my best to keep up on your special day, bday on August}. Thanks a lot! You are awesomely best! God bless you more and as always... Lab yah.. :-) ~hugs&kisses~

May 03, 2010

It was actually last April 27th brunch time as I was still having my sleep or nap at our couch when somebody knocking at our door then found out that it was a mailman from USPS. I fixed myself and entertained the man, and then minutes after he handed me a medium-big box with my name sticking unto it. I had no clue that Analou and her hubby will give me such present because she told me days ago that she will give me other item but not this. Ooh well, it was then my wordless day. Ha! I was excited to open it and I was more wordless that an elegant lavender gift wrap was in front of me. Lavender is my favorite color and she just knew how I love it that much. Thanks a lot best bud.. ;-)

And then I opened it more excited ;-)... then a box of a cute expandable jewelry box which she said (which I never knew she pursued to bought it online) was my first advance birthday gift. I was laughing and smiled grinning from left to right... lol.. kidding aside but am serious.. I was just so happy because she gave me such before I thought I will buy something like this for my fashion /costume ones.

an image from my camera which the quality is low because of too much light

the actual color from seller's site

It is so pretty and beautiful for on-the-go or just in the house stuff for jewelry. This is perfect for on-the-go for me. I so love it! Below is a pretty cute note along my very first gift. :)

I love it best bud! Thanks a lot to you and to your husband Dennis. So long (and I awe you on your birthday this June)... ;-) wait for such.. :) That's what friends are for! {watch-out for mine.. *winkz*} ~hugs&kisses~

Most said that March is March Madness, this month as April Fools... and I do not know what May is... but when I heard about the next month after April which is June is I could say "June bride".. heheheh.. definitely, it is a wedding month. Most folks like to be wed at June since for my own idea, it is summer. Certainly, it won't rain and there's no more mess than raining or some storm, right? So what this month would also be when talking about June wedding? Well, this is one of the month for planning like what could be the wedding favors are to be prepared, style, and other stuffs that compromises it. Since it is really great that a couple is already relax when it is already about to march for a special day as mark as their first day in God's unity, in the eyes of the public as well. I could not imagine how things are rush when stuffs are to prepare on an eleventh hour, isn't it? So good luck for the basic planning (since I know most couple like to put the most of the thinking to the wedding planner but the basic plan of course is from the couple)!

Aww.. should I say Happy? or sad... Hemmm.. I guess for fun I should say happy but for seriously thought, am sad to those fools who are more fool than smart, eh? :) Well, I believe that we have our own unique foolish way just for a joke or to crack up a little bit, as some said "it's a way to broader our funny side and to somewhat like stop aging".. :) yeah, but that is all about it. Nothing to make it long or bring to our inner brain. That's just for fun, not to be taken seriously or else you will be fool.. LOL..

Photobucket

By the way, I remember we (relatives, friends and neighbors) in Philippines used to celebrate Fools Day during December 28. I cannot forget because it is after the fiesta of Hubangon, Mahinog. :) And then as I am here in US of A, its April 1. So, I got used with this April 1 every year as April Fools Day. So to everybody, remember this date so you will not be fooled by anyone else, even if it is just only a joke. *winkz*... kidding aside but it is really great if we know what most folks celebrate such day, right? So that is it folks, I was not being fooled lately but there's one blog that looks like it is true and if you are not aware, you will say like "ooh! or really?" ooh yeah... :) The good thing for good people who crack up is that they used to tell you that they are doing it for that (because it is April Fools Day) at the end of the post or story. When it is on actual story, the teller/the other party will tell you at the beginning or at the end and mostly both so the recipient will aware of what's going on. A recipient also must have his/her idea. So, Happy April Fools Day! :)

March 20, 2010

We all know that March is a graduation month. Usually on the third to the last week or falls on the first week of April in the Philippines but here in USA, they called this as Spring closing. This kind of compassion calls for tuxedos for men or to the the father of the graduating student. Male administration staffs and professors usually wear one in times like this. I remember one of a co-blogger daughter ask the mother why is it that there are many waiters on that day. The mother just laughed secretly after she remembered the graduating students on the graduation ceremony they attended. That is funny and cute. :-) After all, most waiters in a formal restaurants does wear tuxedos but that doesn't mean that they have to be under-looked or overlooked, right? :)... Love ones can also give it as a gift should a person like to do so. So then, have a fun graduation to the graduating and to the parents and alike that does wear a cool tuxedo outfit. You are such a respectable one. Keep going.. ~hug~

March 15, 2010

Weekend is over and now I have a manic Monday! --- It is not a problem though. :-) I am already charged for this another stressful week... (~_~). After having a two consecutive luxurious sleep (yeah sleeping makes me energetic), I am so happy to announce I am energetic again. :-) Yeah, that is all I want and I guess everyone does want that too. I hope you guys have your best of everything. And also I come to analyze the problem of my handy cam why there is no face detection I can find upon reading and reading on its manual. It was not specified there and I thought there was something I did that it did not showed up what has to show. Ooh my.. I was pissed a bit that time but glad I was able to analyze the problem after several attempts. I was happy then. One thing also that the weekend was a blast to me is it was because of the baptism of my "bessy" baby that I attended. It was really a fun one. We had laughs with the folks attended that it seemed we really were that already friends before. Several of them was my first met but we already clicked with our attitudes and that is the idea of laughing out loud... as in hahaha.. (LOL)... :-) even without that particular topic of discussions but we really can get what it was and just laugh without any hesitation and shyness. And also my DH showed in the last minute and also had a blast! It was such a very happy baptism celebration aside from the many different courses of different nationality of foods.. hehehe.. :-) From sea foods to beef, pork, chicken, desserts as well as exotic ones! Yep, from foods to laughs --- I/We had a blast! I would like to grab this opportunity to the host (or the family) and to the folks attended that made my day. :-)

How was yours folks? I bet you guys was having a great weekend bonding with family and friends as well.. How was it?
