How do you like to have wooden furnishes in your home? What about wooden furniture? Isn't it that refreshing to have log furniture in any areas where it supposedly stands? Or perhaps you also want to put up even in your corner garden where you can be seen during your family bonding or on your "mini-moment" time sipping up a margarita, tequila or juice? Thinking about it makes me wish to have it this time. I hope we can have it when time comes my DH and I will have our own simple abode. Though we have already here in our rented apartment, mostly are made of wood. From mirrors sides, dressers, kitchen table, cabinets, chairs, simple couch with foam above, our each other's computer table, TV stand --- name it! I can imagine after naming such that my DH likes log furniture. Surely when we move in (which he plan not to bring the log furniture with us), we will also get the same. What about you, do you like log furniture? How do you like it?

What do you think will make a good ambiance of a house when it has its floor made of tiles? Unless if one's house is all carpeted then rugs may perhaps do not have its area in there but I do not think most house or apartment owners can do that. Their bathroom or kitchen may made of wood tiles or any kind tiles. It is covered with floor mats, I can tell (it is because I saw many though wood tiles are prone to most houses). But even so, they would still in-love with what the beauty of rugs can do. Ambiance. Simplicity, depending on how floors built and its color. One must have a good rug's design on it. Art is what it matters. I just remembered it came to my mind that an area rug for our door step is essential and even in our bathroom's door step just to know that latter, is a bathroom because it seems like it is just a bedroom. Well, okay there's no name on it, rug tells as a sign. It tells the difference so one can have a smooth journey rather than asking " where is it " again and again. ;-) Or what other places are area rugs be placed? Living room center too or a big mirror's floor. Where else?

I guess everybody likes lights, Christmas lights, when it is about Christmas time already. Well, specifically if it is already in "ber" months season. Unless if one is phobia on it, then he/she would not like it then. Now, it has been only one month then it will be September time. As the month speaks for itself, it is the beginning of a "ber" month. For some place, they won't put the lights yet, not until after thanksgiving day which is about a month (or 4th of Thursday of November this year in US) before Christmas day or second week of October in Canada. But of course it is great to inspect the stashed lights like C7 led Christmas lights and buy before the neck of time to save some bucks and getting rid of out-of-stock ones. Days from now I will then have to check mine too especially the c7 LED ones. I can just wish we have some plants and bushes but that is impossible for now since I can only decorate our specific unit not with the bushes which belong to the whole complex. Well, I hope one day I could have bushes to decorate outdoor Christmas lights too. I like both colorful and white Xmas lights anyway. :-)

For some reason, several people like rustic furniture and bedroom furniture is not excluded with that. I, myself saw different style and colors aside from its shapes and I love to have it! I have to give credit to wood craft for that. Stores like Scenic Furniture which sells and maintain its quality should have to be mentioned too for without it, it would not known to many, and folks and eventually have a reliable store to choose from like selling a bedroom furniture. As what I have seen in Scenic Furniture store, there are array of choices they have. And it has inexpensive ones too for your kids which is available from just less than 300 bucks, should you like there is also a very nice-looking wood queen long bed and top sized bed to pamper you while doing your snoring. ;-)

Inform a neighbor you are friendly with or a family member that lives close by, of the days of your travel and have them check on the house once or twice during your vacation. This could prevent a lot of damage if something were to be found leaking or left running. Of course remember to give your neighbor or family member the instructions to work the Home Security Alarm or they will have a very embarrassing situation on their hands.

Do not mention you will be out of town on any social networking websites. It is just an invitation for theft.

There maybe all of us has a journey when we think how ignorant we were as looking back of those time, yes, it happens mostly when we were immature or in our younger years. And that is not bad, it is just the way it is. Just like believing some superstitious beliefs but that is just a ploy from parents to give to their young child, perhaps just to get their belief and love for their parents. Or it might be because their child were talkative enough and cannot get any words to say. I, too has my share, yes, a lot of memories which I thought it was as like that but the truth is that is not.

Okay, I saw a tree with a-thought-carving of it on its body and yes, I thought it was really carved by human or by nature. Unknowingly it was just a garden decorations, a tree decoration. Is not that I was naive? I love gardening and my folks can attest to that. And which I also like decorating my garden way back when I was still in my hometown. But that was without much knowingly of modern garden decors. If only I knew and I have a lot of money for my garden fund, I could also had then a Tinkerbell key hider just like that of the right image. Ooh well, a garden journey and some innocent mind. :)

Have a summer time!

As a wife and a homemaker, I always make sure that our home is free of clutters especially our bed and kitchen. Though we cannot get rid of dust as we just clean it then, later or tomorrow there is that dust again but ooh yeah that is my job. :-) When it comes to bed sheets and mattresses, it has to be changed often and it is great to have that allergy mattress covers to free from allergies. You know, we are smelling it and lying-in there at six to eight hours a day so if it is not clean, and allergy-free, probably you will suffer then from asthma or sickness like that.

With today's living, there are many folks who are already working at-home and earns just like folks who are working outside or in a traditional office and some even earns more than. Well, I can never tell that working at-home is the best but I cannot also tell that it is worst because it depends upon what work one is having. I am not one of those folks but I am a bit earning as well, but just a little. Ooh well, I can never complain because I am a just a plain housewife who's work is to take care of my husband and our home. :-) To those who are earning well and have their work as just like an employee who works in a traditional office, having their office furniture is a must (if you want your work to have a serious workplace), after all it is one of their expenses of their business or the business of their boss, it can be just enough of what they can afford or depends upon what business they have. Office furniture like below is such cute when you have a good space in your house and a fix place, with that you would not need to worry for transfer seeing that it weighs a large of pounds. Yeah, it is pretty.

Well, I could say that there are folks who have sheriff their homes to turn it to the new owner, banks. Yeah, banks foreclosures are rampant nowadays and there are folks who now homeless in a short period of time unless folks who are just lazy to find home and livelihood to which they are just contented of being homeless of their entire life. Alright, enough with it, I just hope those unfortunate ones can find their right of way before it's too late. And back to homes, I guess considering of buying some used motor homes are smart way because it is inexpensive and they can also can use their motor-homes in getting stuffs in the market or something like that because it has a motor, isn't it? :-) Though, it is not that very much possible just like a normal car but since it has a motor and it is not that very big just like a trucking truck, it is very much possible and you can bring your home anywhere you want to go, no need of a hotel. Yeah, there are cons but when it is just what your pocket can afford, why not! It is as pretty as a fix house. Or if not as a home, it could be a vehicle for a road trip, a luxury vehicle (for summer/winter fun) as in it can make as a vehicle at the same time a hotel (as I said earlier). :-) Enjoy..

I and my DH lives currently in an apartment and if there's a problem regarding the fixtures, we need to call the landlord first and if found out that it's our fault, then we have to shoulder the amount incurred by plumbers or any other stuffs broken that they repaired. Until this time (though it is not that so-problem now, it just have its time sometimes), our toilet have a problem of non-stop drawing waters from the toilet {Sorry this may sound absurd, gross or whatever you feel if you felt that way, but anyway it is just the word toilet and there's nothing else it may feel gross}. If only the landlord or the administration have modern toilets like Toto toilets or other cool toilets, perhaps we won't experience this way. Anyway, if the problem continues and arises that we can't handle it, we will surely call the landlord and let the plumber do the its thing. Toilets are very important so it need a good quality one. I cannot say that this isn't such a quality one but there's really a difference. We still keeps on going since it is not acting up for quiet how many days already and thanks God for that or else there's a possibility that DH will shield his bucks again. :( So then, be sure to have a quality bathroom fixtures like toilet and such. :)

I got this image from a wood blinds website to which I so love to have it one day, its just like of how it is in place like above. I will keep this in memory for sure. Well, it depends actually what type and color of blinds would blend to the color of the or the window place. Wooden color is also a cool one, it cools off its surroundings and soft to the eyes. It just got me fascinated anything with wood and wood color. I remember back in my childhood hometown, I saw a concrete stairs and house but the constructor colored it like a wooden house --- it's so really cool and you could not tell it is concrete one. But of course the house need to have concrete foundation so it would last for long years and you would like to have the furniture and fixtures wooden just like a wooden blinds. Looking forward to that time when my DH and I would already have our own house. :) Good luck to us.. he he heh.. hope it will be very soon.. :)

For a house to become a home, there should have love for people living on it. Family bonding should be in the first list. I could say, how rich you are and how beautiful your house is but you have a family of no love, then the things and stuffs you have are useless but a simple (or luxury) home with a loving people or family are the one who we can call happy and ideal to which a house is a home. Speaking of bonding moments in the house, it is cool to know when you have that cool home theater seating to watch with. Nice looking TV mounted stuffs in the corner that everybody can watch and have fun. I know, there is nothing important in this world than love so bond as you always can so peace, harmony and love is always there. One can understand and always there through thick and thin, can fight difficulties and trials when love is present, isn't it? What do you think is awesome to have when everyone in the family is present? Watching TV program, that cool movies, sports and other games are just some of several entertainment you can for an entertainment purposes much more if you have that comfortable entertainment stuff a family love. So then, happy family bonding and keep the love burning! :-)

Do you remember our high school science subject flora and fauna? Heheheh.. yep, it is where I got my title aside from my paternal grandmother name is "Flora". Alright, flora is botany term of flower whereas fauna is an animal term. I was anxious to have a live flower near my laptop when setting on my computer station table. I wonder if you know why beside the reason of beautification. It is to protect my eyes against the computer radiation {though findings said there is no harmful effect of computer radiation unlike x-ray or ultra-violet rays} - I just like it. The third reason is I have something to see if ever I want to look for something have a life whenever my husband is not around. (~_~) Yep, I have it and the image above I took after valentines day this year. I like this plant because it has a lot of buds that are about to bloom --- more than six. But sad to say that it is dying nowadays. I will put up the current image I have on the next. I am sad. :-(

Do you have door bell in your home? How important is it to you? We have our door bell in our apartment rented and perhaps all of the apartments and houses here have unless if it is broken or need a repair. For me, door bell is important especially if you have a big house and the door is far from the center of the house to which peeps stay and could hear the knock of the visitor. Also, if you are busy with something and even little sound you cannot hear because you are concentrating seriously on the work you do. Because of the big buzzing sound of the doorbell button peeps in the house could recognize it and he/she knows that someone is in the door perhaps a visitor or just someone that you have a business with. Whether you have a big or only small family, doorbell is important in the house.
