Valentines '12 Flowers

How was your Valentines Day everyone? I hope you guys enjoyed it as you like it to be. Some others don't celebrate such because they said they are already celebrating it everyday. Yes, it is. But for me, every 14th of 2nd month of the year has to be something special for two hearts in-love or if you have no special someone of opposite sex, no worries. VD has to be unique than any other day. Be it in a simple way or the fancy one, nonetheless, as long as you don't forget to celebrate it. How? Maybe just by giving some flowers, necktie pin, maybe hat or anything (or something) that special to someone/family circle loves or like to have. It is a bonus if it last long. The flowers (shown in the images) which my DH gave it to me was advance (yes, he gave it lately, the evening of 13th) as there's some story about it. It is a bonus to my part. :-) DH actually don't like giving flowers to me at first (three years ago was his first of handing me flowers and from that year onward he swallow his pride just for me. I know it's sweet of him.), but he then realized that what counts is what makes me happy. I can recall he has something for me in every occasion and that mostly jewelry. To cut the cost off (which I decided myself), I tell my DH days before that I only want flowers and nothing else (well, to get batteries of my watches too, it's so simple I know. But I like it this way, this is me and nothing but what I like/want. *wink*). And he did, I am truly happy wifey. Less cost! Savvy, eh? ;-)

I don't care if it won't last as long (this bouquet of flowers lasts a week after valentines because of the flower foods to put in a liter of water and place in a vase where the flowers sit) as the money equivalent won't. It's the thought that counts, you know. And that's how am being happy at the same time we save. :-)

Let's not forget guys that Valentines Day is not only for lovers but also for family circle and alike. So all hearts can enjoy. Now, enjoy responsibly! :-)

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Another Christmas season I am going to spend here in United States of A. This counts from four years ago. My journey isn't easy, it isn't hard either. I don't have regrets, it's only that if only, God spared the congenital defect of my daughter which nobody (yes, even my doctor!) knows when I was still pregnant. Oops! Not that way, nobody can question God, alright. It's just that I am in the modern place and one of the top country in the world (if not number one), why oh why? I could go on and on but then, it's too late to say it since it's already here. My precious one and only baby had her first open-heart surgery already to which, she will going to have other two to correct fully the defect, of course she can live a normal life just like any other child and can do stuffs like them, isn't that great? I am thankful that she's with us and very active one after such incident she had. She smiles, giggles, coos, babbles and even imitate my smiles. Ooh laughter's and tears bind together makes me complete. I admit, it is no easy one. I am the only one that can give her the milk and medicines. Yes, her daddy can but I am the one, primary one, who's going to prepare for it in time, sometimes, when DH like to help me. No family and friends to support me hands-on. And DH said he cannot afford for a nanny since we're just on an average-income family. And he has to work in order to survive. Imagine that! Okay, so much about it. We just have to focus the lighter note, what better to talk on anyway. Let's just have to focus the bright side that makes the equilibrium higher than the opposite one. I am so much blessed to have my baby love. And that makes me merry this Christmas despite of the other lacks. God is good! How about you, what can you be thankful for as being merry for this Christmas? Being alive is more than enough, so, we must embrace that! Merry Christmas everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving USA!

Today, the 24th of November, year 2011 marks the date for Thanksgiving celebration here in United States of America. I don't have the luxury of scouring how the Thanksgiving began, its history, all I know from its word is giving "Thanks" to those people or alike who/which makes people of USA (and to those celebrating) they are today. I want to take this opportunity to thank my friends and acquaintances who makes my world meaningful as with them. Thank you (you know who you are) for being there for me when I need you.

Alright, this is a time of being grateful so, ungrateful isn't the thing, ha ha, oops! No talking negative thoughts unless if its good for the situation. Positive thinking attract positive vibes. Oops! Where am I? Alright, am just here and I found where I ended up and where should it has to be. Am just being thankful! THANK YOU for being YOU! Blogging Makes My Journey More Meaningful

I start blogging two years ago and nine months ago. Blogging for me is an outlet of my thoughts, sharing my experience and tips from what I had. It is not as just for fun, making friends and surfing online but as a sort of. I love reading blogs as much as I admire professional writers who can write long interesting articles, books and alike. I admire people who are creative in their own way of writings. Being a blogger doesn't mean for money. But of course I want to earn a bit from my blogging if it paid every single minute the time that I sitted in front of my pc making post and reviews. Yep, why not if I can do that way with the takes of life, thoughts, experiences I have/had?

Bloggers are some sort of media for news, events and other stuff online. Mostly I found lot of interesting stuffs while visiting bloggers page. Bloggers use to express their feelings and giving their best to get readers. But for me on the other side , I just write simply and feel sorry that I don't have much time to sit and make more posts periodically (but I am trying more to do such). Specially now that I am a new mom, so I want to enjoy every minute of my busy days to my dearest baby.

Well, no matter what I am still keeping my page updated and saying hello to my co-bloggers, family, friends and anyone interested of this blog, around.

Plus you have also got chores and other duties at home to add to that list.

Disneyland California

The words behind Cacai M.'s back just speaks for itself. Yes, that was taken at Disneyland California entrance. Disneyland California is located in the City of Anaheim, Orange County just next or nearby to Los Angeles County (where I live). This image was captured year 2007. I was with my friend Au and her husband that time. DH was at work, good thing he permitted me to go strolling with them. Smile. By the way, Disneyland has another branch locally (Disneyland Florida) and even in other countries like Paris (Disneyland Paris) and (Disneyland Hongkong) just so you know (in case you did not).

And below two other images were taken inside the place which is where Mickey (or Mini, either of the two *wink*) was being held by his (or her if its Mini) father.

Such a cool colorful full of joy amazing place, Disneyland is. For me, Disneyland is the happiest place on earth, don't you think?

Unexpected Fun, Yesterday

It was not a plan to visit my friend, Te Claudia's home. She invited me in the nick of time. I was about to take a dream plunge, ooh yeah, going sleep after changing bed sheets and making bed and some household chores when the phone rang. Oops! She called. Yours truly actually received a text message before that but was not able to reply. I prefer call than text. Wink. Then back to the call thing, yep, we had a conversation which tempted me to walk going to her house. Her conversation food temptation was effective. Ha ha! That was why I dragged myself walking there. The good thing is her place is not that far from mine. And so I was there, we ate steamed mixed vegetables, some beef, cake, piniato and other stuffs. We had karaoke too while trying to reach our other two friends nearby but Preciel cannot make it and we understand. She and her family got sick. Sad. We hope she and her family will be alright very soon. Our other friend was able to come after trying to reach her phone numbers. Dorie, who happened to celebrate her birthday today was with us which was great. I have to great her once more now, " happy many more birthdays to come Dor! " and more graces ahead! All in all, we had. Te Claudine and her DH dropped me by at home which am thankful of. It was a fun friends journey day!

Commercial Lockers

Once in my life I journeyed into being a private employee. Was not turned into a regular one but am happy I gained experience unto it. I was employed in several private commercial companies. I consider such experience as memorable working days, happy moments because I learned to like the job and that's what important. It may not be as what I was aiming and did not last longer, yet, I was contented and respected. Most of my co-workers are good vibes. We treated one another as family. During snacks and lunch times, we went to our lockers first then headed to the cafeteria as a group. I just now realized that every private commercial companies I was in, has also its lockers for the employees. Though it is a commercial locker because it was owned, managed and serves its purpose for commerce, yet we did not rent on it. It's free from company, meaning, every employee is entitled to use one and no payment involved.

Locker is essential, aside from that, it minimize company space and provides security and privacy of every employee. Lockers cannot only be seen in such place but there are also lockers in the postal offices and players, employees, students and alike which folks has to rent so they can use it. Locker is used to go to work, play or going to classroom to which it is amazingly cool!

Potential Juror Badge

Images below is what I received more than a year ago. That was June 2010 in our old apartment rented home. And last weekend (August 27, 2011) I received other one like this, here in our new abode. Apparently it is an invitation/selection as a potential juror in C. Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center in Los Angeles, California. Yes, a said letter is a summon from the Superior Court of Los Angeles County for service as a trial juror, if qualified when registered. I was one of the selected lucky individual.

Am a green card holder, a legal alien, or a permanent resident. Registering by phone is cool! As much as I want to serve, I cannot yet because I am not qualified due to a reason of "not yet a citizen of USA" . So for the second time (aside from am about to popped-out, my tummy that is), I am not able to attend because of the same reason. It is an honor, amazing, and at the same time an overwhelming feeling being selected as one of the potential jurors but then, maybe next time. Have a great day!

Sandwich for Him

It's not a date sandwich, that such term use when there's a legal holiday which falls on the last weekdays of work, but a common term of a food or snacks. Do you love eating sandwich? Or how do you like doing or preparing it for your kiddos, spouse or anyone? Or to sell it on your cafeteria or store?

Alright, yours truly is just a mere homemaker (and a mommy-to-be) who enjoys homemaking as my full-time career. I love cooking and preparing foods which my husband love to eat. One food he likes me to prepare is the sandwich. He let me prepare it for his snacks (but he call it "for lunch") at work. And it is already a routine for me when we get-up at 5 a.m. in the morning while he fix for himself to get ready for work and me, doing the ironing and preparing his sandwich to put in a brown paper lunch bag together with another sandwich bag of potato lays or pringles on it.

I used to put pickles and lettuce on his sandwich but currently he don't want me to include in the ingredients so I just follow what he said, after all, he's the one will eat it. His sandwich includes: 2 slices of bread, sandwich spread, turkey slices and top with a single cheese. To prepare it, (1) I just put the sandwich spread on one side of the slice bread then followed with the turkey slice and the single cheese. (2) Then put the other slice of bread on it. (3) Wrap the sandwich beautifully with a paper towel and put it in a plastic sandwich bag before putting it up on the brown paper lunch bag with the other bag of classic "lays" potato. That's it! One of my creation in my kitchen journey. :-)

"Nothing is free" as most folks said. Free is something. And we gratefully said if we can have it. Imagine having such without paying any cent. It is just like in foreclosure search, house and home foreclosure listings. Many does not offer it for free but thanks goodness there are still Free Foreclosures nowadays or else that being said "nothing is free" is applicable to all.

Since economy is not yet on its high position, there are then many affordable Real Estate Owned Foreclosures available in the market in different states and cities. This is a good deal to those who are searching for their own abode. Some need some repairs but the thing is, it is still good for it as being a home. And yes, the affordability is an important key. I can just imagine how I like to check out foreclosure listings and see what DH can afford to have our own place one day soon. But we are not lucky enough for a good deal. Maybe next time. It is fine with me to live here or there as long as everybody in the family is happy and comfortable then we have what we need. That what matters most.
