Gifts from SD Racky

Step daughter Racky (her nickname) gave her Daddy and I a humble wonderful gifts and it arrived days ago. It is just now that I managed to put it in here. Diary, keep it in memory. I guess she does not know I am managing three blogs but then I presume it won't matter with her. Even so, it is no biggie deal. Speaking of the main attraction here, well, her wonderful gifts, she gave me girl stuffs from "bath and body works" which comprises of fragrant cherry blossoms lotion, body wash and anti-bacterial deep cleansing hand gel. Her dad got from her a electronic shave and a set of body spray. That is sweet of her.

I guess such present is an advance Christmas gifts sine her greeting card is "Merry Christmas" , well, if that so, it is also a perfect timing for Donald and I's anniversary on this month. On her greeting card, she puts her new address in there. I have marked it black as it is classified.

That is her in the picture above. She now resides in New York to continue her schooling for nursing for third year and soon enough she will be on her fourth year. She is a smart one. She was crowned as Miss Jamaica-Florida and sent us her pics from the pageant. Thank you Racky!

My Blue Monday: Blue Teddy

It has been a long time of not h aving my blue Monday in here. Oops! It is just a literal blue, okay? ;-) As I grew older or a mature individual, I learn how to embrace what I do not like. Just like a color blue, yes, I do not like this particular color before. It is not really that I hate it but I just do not like as what most folks like. My sister likes this color a lot and it actually is her favorite color but not me. But as I said, I now embrace it though it do not become my fave color but ooh, I love it!

Just a good time, last year, my sister gave me a gift -- a blue stuff toy. A teddy bear which I call it teddy. She gave me that blue teddy (pictured above with a card and other stuff) as her first birthday gift for me. Yes, it is first as in first ever birthday gift. ;-) And I kept it, until now it looks like new. :) I am a good keeper so one/she could expect me to do that. With that, I was more happier with my natal commemoration last year. :) And also this year, and hopefully in the next coming years! Have a great Blue Monday everyone! Have a fun weekday!

Are You Fond of Football?

The 2010 FIFA (Federation Internationale de Football Association) World Cup is now on-going. This is by far the 19th football world cup tournament as describe by Wikipedia. Am sure if you are a football fan, used to be a player in your own school, state or country or just simply adore this game, you are now chasing up on your own television and cheer your bet of which team will be declared as champion at the end of this world cup. Then you wish to have your personalized footballs as a memorabilia, a collection or just a gift to your mates or anyone which fond of football too. If you are a player, you will like to give it as a gift to your coach as gratitude. Such a terrific idea, isn't it? God bless to those who are kind and grateful.

* A Surprise Bday Gift from a Dear Friend

You just can't go wrong without thinking that somebody would surprise me on my birthday. I didn't really expect of it because I wasn't even yet give back to what she gave me last valentines day and now she sent me birthday gifts again. How was that? Won't you be surprised especially if her gifts are all gorgeous? Yep, I bet you it's pretty all awesome in person... I so love it that much that I can't help but so grateful of this blogger friend of mine, so grateful of her presence. Though we haven't yet meet in person but seems we were friends since back then... Ooh well.. it was just one year ago and in just one instance we're already clicked with each other. Do you know the feeling of friendship being "click" with each other? If you know, you can then tell how it is. Yep, it is not that easy to find a friend that you can be with each other, online that is, but you have that such friendship bond that more than an in person ones. Ooh well, she(Demcy)'s full of generosity, thoughtfulness and kindness. I appreciate it that much! Here's what she gave me.

Above is another pretty cute lavender racer back shirt, look at the print (Friends fun and peace sign, this coincides with my jersey lavender jersey shorts --- great for hot summer)! Isn't it that pretty? Yes, it is! ;-) It's prettier in person, really it is.

Two pretty "TooFaced" glamorous lip glosses, lavender cute hooked earrings (which I wear until now, my ears are that choosy but this earrings suits its choosiness that's why it's my fave casual hook stone earrings plus it's gorgeous lavender color --- she got my weakness when it comes to pretty lavender ;-) Thanks a lot madam sis Dhemz!

I know words are not enough to express my gratefulness and no beyond expression I can tell but you know how lucky I am to have a friend like you. I know you are great but I have to say you are awesomely best. I really appreciate your kindness and such ({I hope to keep up on your birthday... ;-). I know that if you give, you don't expect in return but I will try my best to keep up on your special day, bday on August}. Thanks a lot! You are a wesomely best! God bless you more and as always... * A Wordless Day

It was actually last April 27th brunch time as I was still having my sleep or nap at our couch when somebody knocking at our door then found out that it was a mailman from USPS. I fixed myself and entertained the man, and then minutes after he handed me a medium-big box with my name sticking unto it. I had no clue that Analou and her hubby will give me such present because she told me days ago that she will give me other item but not this. Ooh well, it was then my wordless day. Ha! I was excited to open it and I was more wordless that an elegant lavender gift wrap was in front of me. Lavender is my favorite color and she just knew how I love it that much. Thanks a lot best bud.. ;-)

And then I opened it more excited ;-)... then a box of a cute expandable jewelry box which she said (which I never knew she pursued to bought it online) was my first advance birthday gift. I was laughing and smiled grinning from left to right... lol.. kidding aside but am serious.. I was just so happy because she gave me such before I thought I will buy something like this for my fashion /costume ones.

It is so pretty and beautiful for on-the-go or just in the house stuff for jewelry. This is perfect for on-the-go for me. I so love it! Below is a pretty cute note along my very first gift. :)

* Graduation is Coming!

We all know that March is a graduation month. Usually on the third to the last week or falls on the first week of April in the Philippines but here in USA, they called this as Spring closing. This kind of compassion calls for tuxedos for men or to the the father of the graduating student. Male administration staffs and professors usually wear one in times like this. I remember one of a co-blogger daughter ask the mother why is it that there are many waiters on that day. The mother just laughed secretly after she remembered the graduating students on the graduation ceremony they attended. That is funny and cute. :-) After all, most waiters in a formal restaurants does wear tuxedos but that doesn't mean that they have to be under-looked or overlooked, right? :)... Love ones can also give it as a gift should a person like to do so. So then, have a fun graduation to the graduating and to the parents and alike that does wear a cool tuxedo outfit. You are such a respectable one. Keep going.. ~hug~

Cigars For Him, and For Her?

Usually I could only see people who smoke cigars at television and it is commonly a person who is a boss or at a high position. I could say the cigar image at the right side is mostly use by elite individual. This is by the way called in Philippines as "tobacco" or "tabako" in bisaya dialect. "Tabako" is mostly smoke by older adults and I could remember my step grandmother (deceased now) did used to smoke like this. My step grandma isn't rich but to them smoking cigar is better than cigarettes because the nicotine isn't that much---that's what I heard on my grandma. We even have a plant that she could get whenever it is already good to make for tobacco.

Haaay if only she's still alive would this be a good gift for her. Now I could say cigars are not only for men but for women. I could say women because there were also older women adults smoking tobacco or a fancy one called "cigars".. Hemmmm.. do you think it's cool this for a gift to those who loves smoking like this? I am also wondering how safe is this to the passive individuals just how cigarettes affect more to the passive(inhales the smoke but not the user) than an active(the smoker) individual. This could also be a good gift to person who fond of this, I think so.

The Other Package I Got

It was Monday (December 21) evening that I went downstairs headed to the mailbox. I opened the mailbox and there I got a small package from "no name" just an address but the address was familiar to me, it was Dhemz, the author of "My Life's Perception and Inspiration" blog. One of my blogger "bessy". And there I opened the it not expecting that she also gave me a purplish sleeveless cute blouse. I love it! I so heart it because it really fits me as if we went shopping together. :-) And ooh the color you know... And now I have something to pair my white pants wetseal.. :-) You surprised me ha.. Now, you got me too. Hmmm.. Below was the package I got.

Got Packages!

I am blessed to have friends both online and offline. Yep, I got packages. I said packages because it's two of it. One package is for me and my Dear Hubby from Analou and Dennis. I got it after I shopped for Christmas cards, that was 16th of Dec (Wednesday). I was stunned seeing there was a package at our door and named. Analou by the way is my blogger buddy and has authored "The Shadow of Our Pasts and the Silhouette of Our Future", and "Analou's Place to Remember" blogs. I was the one introduced her to blogging and am glad she loved it as a way for some comfort. Well, as I said it's one way to find comfort sometimes and some socializing too so she won't missed much her family in the Philippines. Okay back to the gift, I recalled I mentioned to Analou a bit that we will have an exchange gift but I wasn't able to told her really. I just cut it off thinking that it's crisis nowadays. So, we can both save money :-). But she/they made it and there it's my/our conscience not to give back :-).. so me with the help of my hubby dear(financially) shopped and mailed it two days ago. The postman said it will arrive last day. Hopefully it did. :-) Below is the package content.

This is our first Chrismas package as a couple. Thanks An and Dennie for the gift. We love it. Now, we have a lot of kitchen knives already added to our kitchen tools. You really know! muahhh!

Anyway, the other package was from Dhemz, my other blogger buddy. She surprised me with a beautiful purplish sleeveless with a family picture and newsletter. I love it and I will show you on my next post. Have a good day!

Electric Blanket for Winter

It's fall season already and soon it will be winter again. Some will plan or window shop ahead so in time of shopping, they know already what to get. Some will get for personal use, home, and so on and so forth. Would you like to check for an electric blanket then? I haven't use a blanket that uses an electric to heat it up but I guess this is interesting and sounds cozy. Hem-mm.. perhaps checking it out is the best idea to see what is it. I guess this is ideal if you want a stuff that makes you warm faster. Perhaps this could be a great gift for Christmas too thinking of the cool weather.

Are You Particular of Jewelry Shape?

For me, am not really particular of the shape as long as it is heartily given but if I have to pick I like most of a heart jewelry ones. Perhaps because from the word itself it corresponds to what I like in inner sense--hearty. Anyway, jewelry are some kind of a want so it's not really important but most men and women likes it as a gift for love ones of important occassions. And of course I like it too! (~_~) I just only use it in rare occasion but not always just like when am just in the house or took a bathe, and any other just a very casual thing. I don't have lots though but if you give me one as a gift, I will accept it! lol

MY BESSY AURELYN BIRTHDAY IS TODAY

HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DHAY LYN!

This post is for my best friend here in the place where I am now--she's Aurelyn. She's one of my best. Remember of my post Penmanship and a Heart Tag(look for the letter B)? Yep, am proud to announce how good she is to me--that's why she's one of my best! We call ourselves Dhay. heheh.. We're buddies since last year. Though she currently lives a little far already and it's quiet 11-12 miles far from our home yet it's just like we live just as before(1 mile away from our home). By the way, she's 3 months pregnant and am hoping to be her kiddo Ninang soon and am excited! (~_~)

Anyway, for some kind of thankful of her to me and to my hubby- we dropped-by yesterday at their house to give some present and called her over the phone for the birthday greeting. Am thankful to friendster social networking too that I expressed my greeting in there for her. Happy Birthday Dhay Lyn! Many, many more birthdays to come!

MY COMPUTER WORK STATION

Hemmm, it's not that very nice for some(I guess) but I love it! It's very nice in the eyes of mine *wink*. Anyway, these are my other gift from my hubby, my new computer work station, canon 4-in-1 printer (fax, photocopier, scanner, printer, and quick start), external hard drive, my new laptop case, and my new chair (heheheh). Thanks hon for this! Now, we have different work station, printer, computer, etcetera, and so on. It's more convenient this way. I can put all my paper stuffs in one location aside from our bedroom desk as well as convenient for studying my lessons. Am just happy and I hope you're happy for me too. Have a nice day! smile.. (~_~)
