Today is America's birthday. As in, this day is the day which every Americans, America residents or to those who are celebrating is commemorating the independence day which America was declared as a nation and got its name. Family and friends are gathering for a get-together, barbecue, dance, concert especially fireworks display and many more others as for the name of celebrating. Thanks to those who fought for their lives just for this nation to be freed from any circumstances to be declared as a great nation. Let us not forget but give back to those who give their all. Have fun! ~muahhugs~

I created twice but it seems not a good one--it seems my mind is not of good mood today so I will just post it on the coming days.. am not feeling well. And because today is July 4 already, I want to say "Happy 4th of July" people who live in America, Americans, and the friends of the latter who are joining to commemorate the Independence Day of America. God bless America! Kudos to the soldiers who's battling years ago in order to protect this nation and of course to the leaders who signed the petition for declaration of America from Great Britain's rule years ago in order for this nation to be free and independent from other nation's(Great Britain) rule. Happy Independence Day United States of America! Happy celebration to those peeps who believe in independence!

Today, Americans celebrates Memorial Day. This is a legal holiday and all of government and private offices as well as schools are closed. Some stores, malls, and markets as well are.
In commemoration of the people who fought for this country to have freedom and enjoy what we have now, together with the citizens and some-- I do salute them all! Kudos to you!
My friend Joseph in friendster wrote in bulletin the meaning behind Memorial Day and wants to pass this on, and here it is:

Though spring doesn't end until June 21, many people consider Memorial Day, which falls on May 25 this year, to be the real start of summer. To prove it, families will be heating up the grill, catching the biggest movies and enjoying the great outdoors. But Memorial Day has the word "memorial" in it for a reason.
The holiday got started on May 30, 1868, when Union General John A. Logan declared the day an occasion to decorate the graves of Civil War soldiers. Twenty years later, the name was changed to Memorial Day. On May 11, 1950, Congress passed a resolution requesting that the President issue a proclamation calling on Americans to observe each Memorial Day as a day of prayer for permanent peace and designating a period on that day when the people of the United States might unite in prayer. President Richard M. Nixon declared Memorial Day a federal holiday in 1971. Memorial Day is now observed on the last Monday of May. It is an occasion to honor the men and women who died in all wars.
Remembering Those Who Served
It is customary to mark Memorial Day by visiting graveyards and war monuments. One of the biggest Memorial Day traditions is for the President or Vice President to give a speech and lay a wreath on soldiers' graves in the largest national cemetery, Arlington National Cemetery, in Virginia. Most towns have local Memorial Day celebrations. Here are some ways you can honor the men and women who serve our country:
* Put flags or flowers on the graves of men and women who served in wars.
* Fly the U.S. flag at half-staff until noon.
* Visit monuments dedicated to soldiers, sailors and marines.
* Participate in a National Moment of Remembrance at 3 p.m. local time.
* March in a parade.

Happy Memorial Day all!

Eh? I had known few week ago that I have a co-blogger friend and a neighbor way back in P.I. particularly in the province that for no reason or may I say can't find any reason why in her two blogs she erased my blog... I can't tell that because of my rp because I still have it that time. I can still remember that she dropped-by here everyday and many times she's one of my top droppers. I don't really know why.. I wonder if she's mad at me or what.. As I remember, I didn't do any bad. She didn't even write secretly, I hope she will. Some kind of it hurts a little that someone close to my heart will do that to me. As to myself I didn't do that. I will do of hard works just not to close such friendship as any as that, or maybe she didn't treat as the way I treat. Or is she treated me just to show just an acquaintance? If you're at my side, what will you do folks? I can't seem find any reason why she did that. I even wrote her privately why but for no apparent reason she didn't reply which in fact she always response me even how many days late but still not for weeks. Well, I still didn't close it. Am still open of her response. I hope she will read this. This is for you. It's not really clear who she is but I know she will understand if she will read this. Am just doing my last straw if not then, I couldn't do anything about it but to accept the fact that friendship that grows in us before will just last as easy as that. Some kind of hurt but as I said not that much because I did all I can so it's her choice if she still want the friendship, right? Is this my gift from her on my birthday? Am still looking forward of the good surprises though..
Also, about my rp(read in opposite way). I know mostly of you here noticed about it but am not really affected because it's not only me had lost it. I know it will goes back to me soon besides my alexa is good so no worry that much. I still believe of just idea. Law is law but reason is reason. I wonder why but still am hopeful and still grateful in other way. Thank you to all concern. Muahhh! Have a happy weekend!

What happened is that it seems it's a very big deal to Perez Hilton who is one of the judge of 2009 Miss United States of America pageant who handles or gives question to the contestant. Unluckily because the judge who ask her a question is a gay and it pertains to the gay personality specifically about Same-sex Marriage, that makes Miss California 2009 - Carrie Prejean a very controversial one. And it's a very big deal that some can't understand that it's just her personal opinion as it pertains to her personality. On the other hand, she represents the state so I guess that's also one reason that Perez Hilton and the opposition of her answer on the pageant is thinking. Probably they think that it's not only a personal thought but the whole state she's representing. Well then, whatever it is, she's pretty, sexy, and the First Runner-up of the said search. And that could not be changed, and now she's famous because of the incident. Lots of people congratulates her though..
Below is the video of the Question and Answer portion of the pageant:

Kudos to 2009 Miss California and also to the reigned Miss USA and all the awardees of the pageant! Congratulations!

As I was about to nap lately, the news on tv got my attention - it's about a deadly outbreak disease called swine flu. This influenza virus killed 68 people already in the country of Mexico and threatened to be a global disease, I hope expert doctors will find a solution of this before lots of humans got killed. As to the report, about 6 states in Mexico has this deadly outbreak and for now they close their schools, museums, sport arenas, and most of the community places. Masks were being distributed for the contagious disease will transfer human to human. The said disease is from live swine or pigs. Here in USA, there are also victims but luckily got recovered. There are 6 in California and two people in Texas. In New York City, 75 students from Queens High School got ill and one tested has it. Hopefully they also got recovered. Praise God that there's no victims here got being medicated and recovered. By the way, the symptoms of this outbreak is just like a common flu but it's more higher, like chills, cold, runny nose, and the body temperature is 105 degress Farenheit. I just remembered the bird flu that attacts mostly people in Singapore before, it's so fearful! So folks, be aware not to contact live swines nowadays huh? I hope this will not turned into global. Let us pray for this peepz..

When someone ask you about this folks, what comes to your mind? America or United States of America (U.S.A.) has been widely called as a "Land of Opportunity". It is indeed a land of opportunity because as I can see this is the main land in which you can have all what you wanna do, works or jobs, the awesome and fantastic views either a man-made and natural, the huge and wide buildings you can see, lots of foods (as long as you work), security, high technology (hi-tech), education, and stuffs here and there you can see and believe how wonderful it is as long as you get to work hard to earn money in exchange of it. Some just get a job here and after they have enough will retire and will transfer to another country wherein their money is such of higher value and live a good lives. It's only hard work is the key of this land of opportunity. I have heard and ask some of my close friends here which don't have a child yet that they prefer not to for having a child is giving all he/she needs to compete the fast-living here as to the standard. So, having a child is not as easy as abcd, needs to nurture and plan ones future. Lucky is the child for he/she is the priority in here. I also appreciate of that idea and concept for I believe that "children are the country's future". So then, how your place called folks? I believe that every country, province, city, etc has it's own name as how it is called. America is also called as a "Land of Free", wonder why? I will tackle this on the other post to answer that queue. I remember CDOC (one of the cities in Phils.) called as a "City of Golden Friendship, Davao City as "Land of Promise", Cebu City as "City Queen of the South", Camiguin as "Paradise Island", and so on.. How's yours folks, is it okey for you to share it here? Share then how your place is called as folks .....

Aside from writing and blogging, manual sewing, listening music, dancing, swimming, and biking, I have my new hobby now. I got a good influenced by my teacher Jackie and my two classmates which are from Thailand and China of my conversation class every Friday. At first when they talked about it and wanted to exchange stamps from my country home which is Philippines, I just said okey and the next week we met we exchanged. I was not that really fun of, I am just happy when people are happy and as long as I have it then why not, right? So then, the next session our teacher said that she will bring her collection of stamps and she did it, we saw her collections last Friday and I got fascinated how she had! A lot! there are commemorative stamps around the world but mostly made here in USA but the thing is it's so awesome how she managed to have it, it's not used stamps it's new and it is ready to use everytime she wants to use but she won't permit herself to use it for ordinary use. So there, it's some kind like of photo albums form smallest to largest and mostly are blocks of stamps. There are international famous persons, things, and events which is called "commemorative" meaning "in memory". I bet you she has lots I guess 10 albums, and also there are rare ones which of great value! She said she began to collecting stamps the time she had her baby, and now her son is already married and I bet the age is 30+ already and now her son is the one continuing to collect stamps for her. And so, I got fascinated with it that it's then sensible to me. After that school hours I dropped-by then at the USPS and buy commemorative blocks of stamps. The older the better and good if it's first class 'coz if you want to use it, the value is equivalent to the current value. But am not after of the value, what am after of is the essence and importance of it. I will then find stamps which dated the the year that I got birth and to the present. I guess it would be rare and expensive, I just try if I can have a good deal. If not, then I would love to collect the year that I got here in USA, and that would be the commemorative of my stamp collecting. The other one which I got fascinated that turned me to hobby is the post card collecting. Just like the first one, it would be then international thing. And I would love to exchange to peepz and friends who came from different countries. I guess it's just easy for me 'coz I have lots of classmates who are from different countries like China, Hongkong, Korea, Thailand, Mexico, Japan, India, Germany, Vietnam, France, Cambodia, Singapore, and more. I am only the one came from Philippines, sometimes they teach me their language which I like much so I can be multilingual. heheheh. Is that cool folks? Well then how about you, can you share your hobby to me too? Do you like commemorative stamps and post card collection?

I had a great day today for I got 90% of our final exam lately for one subject which is a telephone techniques and the equivalent is A. Am glad I did it again! heheh.. Ohhh yeah, am not kidding, am telling the truth. I just wanna voice out that the hard work I had is worth it. So the subject is 75WPM for Keyboarding, do you believe that someone got 75 words per minute in 10-key keyboarding or typing?? It's not me huh. Yep there is someone got it! And only one person I know! it's lately together with our Timed Writing Class a chinky-eyes lady(I guess she's a of Chinese blood) took a typing test for certification and yes of no error! It's unbelievable isn't it? 75 Words Per Minute! Do you guys can type it of such speed? Do you know someone who got such score? If yes, comment me so I know. As far as I know it's only 60 or 65WPM. I got once 55 but only once and I have also one error. Am still striving to get an average of 50WPM- for now am still on 40-45 WPM. That 75 is impressive, isn't it? We're(me, my instructors, and my typing classmates) telling her that she could be in world record or in Guinness Book of Record if nothing can beat her! Well, I just share this to you guys for you to know and please let me know too if you know someone. I was very impressed with her and all the of my classmates, we even clapping our hands for appreciation. Anyway, Have a pleasant day all! (~_~) Don't forget to tell me below if you know someone huh? Who knows, someone you know can bet her. Well, type speed can also help us here in blogging world and of some that we like to do in pc when it comes about typing thing, right? So then, how about you guys, how many WPM of speed you got?
