I have been keeping a journal since I was in high school. When I reached college, I wrote more or let me say, I made more that in later years. I had a hard time which place should I stock those piles. I don’t like the thought anyone going through my journals while I am still alive.

Someone asked me, what’s in your journal? I told her, oh well, they are personal experiences, mostly what my day was or a weekend like or my aspirations. I also recorded some love moments and even the fights and confused moments. I think keeping journal is a healthy habit. It may look weird for some because it makes an introvert person more introvert, but to me, it’s kind of healthy because if there is no one near you, or if one is not comfortable sharing her deepest thoughts, she has the journal to pour out her feelings.

Keeping a journal is not just for girls. There are men who kept one, too. Even great men have journals. Examples of men who kept a journal or diary are Ralph Waldo Emerson, Kurt Cobain, Ronald Reagan, and Captain Cook. These are just some of them. There are or course a lot of women who can add up to this list.

So, if you want to end up like any of them, keep writing! It does not matter if it’s only for your eyes, the important thing is you write about the moments of your life. :-)

About the end of the conversation in the Skype with my immediate maiden family in the Philippines, my youngest sister Lovely had a conversation in her phone from Unilab that they're going to deliver something. And I humbly shouted that it's the Swish that they gave out sample for review in exchange of my/our honest opinion. And I am one of the lucky juror (ah ha! Wink*) to be sent of this product. With the approval of my co-blogger who handle as a middleman, I have my my maiden family there as my recipient.

Mouthwash is a must here in our home in USA (and I bet in most home, if not every home) and alcohol-free is the best. The alcohol-free by the way is the new upgrade mouthwash from "with-alcohol" (apparently). Since this upgrade product is also new in the Philippines, I did not hesitate to say "yes" for my family there in the Philippines to try the new mouthwash, yes --- Swish. It's flavor is a taste of mangosteen fruit to which according to them is refreshing and they can really taste the fruit flavor on it. Yes, they like it! Their verdict is 5/5. Awesome. :-)

Life is precious, so if possible we will give our best for this one life. Ready to accept all the challenges and surprises along our journey.

" Life is too short " -- this is what I always hear since when I was young. Indeed this is true, we must have to enjoy life while we have that gift. God give us only one life and if possible we have to enjoy every single moment of it. But in some way, we are just human and need more exploration in life. Problems come along the way, challenges is there always. The only thing we can do is to pray and ask God to give us more life to live and to handle those situation from time to time.

So what is life really? In some way this is a philosophical question which everyone has different perspective what life is, when we say life, its an existence. Once you exist in this world you have life. " Life is a gift from God, what you become is your gift to God. "

Everyone needs to exercise. It can be of any form and type. It can also be indoor and outdoor exercise. Be it as dancing, brisk walking, jogging, running, set-up, push-up, crunches and many more. As we know, we have to burn calories stored in our body as we eat every now and then. It's great to do it, it's great to burn unwanted calories in our body. Also, it releases stress, tensions, bad moods and all that negativity one had in mind. It makes a difference if we are doing that with a good and right suit, isn't it?

I'm glad I've got pair of an Active Wear from Ellie. I have few suits but it also cool to have some more and with this cool active wear. I love the below the knee-type printed side bottom or the To Due for Capri (look for the capri, not the shirt) and that three-fourth two-in-one shirt, It Takes Two Top. It is a summery-look pair. It is fancy to me. Its fabric is soft, lightweight and feel so good having it while doing my exercise. I have to say Ellie got good stuffs and the best thing is, it is made in USA! I even want to shop more from their company, for now, I love to have another one of that top I got. Have a great day everyone! ~hugs&kisses~

July 27, 2013

Last Saturday, the 13th of July, I cut my own V-Style long black hair. This was not the first time I did this. Though, I already practiced cutting hair (straight-cut and front slashed only) of my cousins and some friends as well as mine way back in my birth country when I was still young, but I most done it here in USA (where I live now with my American husband and child). It's not hard for me as I am used to it, as I said I already practiced it there.

It has been long time that I was not able to do it, I thought I was not able to do it perfectly but when my husband said (by the way he's very particular of my hair) I did it perfectly or straightly just what I can imagine, only then I said unto myself that I did a great job. Not to brag but I'm just telling the truth. Ha! If you're here personally, then you can see. :-)

Have a great day! Spread the positive vibes! Life is too short to spend and worry stupid things --- just live, laugh and love.  :-)

Ever since I haven't remember that I curled my hair through a curling iron. It is a luxury to me. It is still fresh on my mind what my cousins and me did when I was still on our elementary days. Remember those, cassava leaves? Huh? Ha! Yes, I pity those cassava root crops my grandparents planted as we got our basic curling stuff, yes, that was our curler! Ha! You can only imagine what we did. Thankfully, my grandparents didn't scolded me as we carefully took it from the banana crops. They just smiled looking at what we did, looking at our end product, curled hairs. I can't stop smiling here reminiscing those past memories I had back from my birth country. I don't know what you're thinking but that was fun! And now that I'm already married, I still didn't think of getting for myself, I just didn't think of it, not until I got a chance to have one for myself.

Hooray! Now I own one. Remember my post about Ceramic Tourmaline Hair Straightener? About my wish to own one curling iron? Yes, thanks to Flat Iron Experts, now I have tried (and owned) a fancy curling/styling iron for my long black hair. I have to let it be manageable, meaning, it is not that black shiny hair no more as it won't effect if it is shiny, it won't curl. That KQC Thermal Shine Spray helps it after my hair already dried. You know, one has to do the curling when the hair is a little wet and yes, a little dry. That Cortex Pro Collection Titanium Curling Iron/Styling Iron (1-1/2") CTX-15GCIBT helped in curling my hair the very first time using a fancy hair styling/curling iron. I admit, I was a little nervous because it is my first and it uses electricity. I am using a hair curler which has only "on and off button" unlike the straightening iron that it has adjustments of slow heat, medium and high, though. There were "what if's" on my mind, that's why I have to do it very carefully, you know "first time". Wink. ;) Good thing, it is lightweight and its handle bar swivels naturally. Furthermore, I am grateful there's that thermal gloves packed in a KQC Heat Resistant Thermal Pouch which is a help in doing such. And I have to remember that it has to be away from my eyes and skin (just like any other curling iron). All in all, I have a pleasant and memorable "first" moment in my hair journey. Thanks also to my hubby for taking pics of me while doing it!

How do you like it? Thanks for being here! Have a great day! ~hugs&kises~
