It is just now. Friday now here in Pacific Savings Time (I know some part of the world already celebrating its weekend). How time flies but we just have to accept it, live with it so we can have a joyful life. He he he! Oops, so serious dramatic huh! Think logic.

Now here comes this day which some folks do not work because they have their under and overtime for the rest of the workdays of the week but still they have a perfect attendance. Well, how they did it?  it is just that way. They are just having it that way. It is their choice and boss is okay, so what's the problem? He he he! We all have some low moments and I, myself now is also has my way, as in so sleep already. Ooh well, I have to bid bye for now. Happy Friday folks!

November 11, 2010

Today (November 11) commemorates the veterans soldiers who fought for this country to have this country stand as what it has today. People who have/had made extraordinary effort should have to be commemorated, and this day is for those veterans. Indeed, we have to salute to them for without them, United States of America is not as what it has now.

I may not very knowledgeable about this history of whom they are/were but one thing I know is they have to be commended and honored. That is why today is a holiday. I was wondering lately of why my DH did not woke up as early as usual during weekdays then I knew (as looking up in the calendar since he did not told me, well, he wanted me to know by myself). :-)

And so, happy Veterans Day USA! Happy holiday!

November 06, 2010

Hello ladies and gentlemen! How have you been doing all? I hope you are in a great condition and all are in best. I know we cannot have it all but at least, we have all the healthy strong body and great, sharp mind. We should not always forget that whenever we have trials (which is normal), let us just think about it as spices of life (which is true) and it will be gone not too soon but it will (well, it is either be so soon, soon, or it will come on its right time) be gone and what comes in is what we really wanted to be. Hooray to that! Isn't that sharp? Alright, I do not want to make this long since I know you also have something to read after this which I bet it interests you (of course *wink*). Now, let me greet you all  a "have a great fulfilling" weekend! Have a great bonding with friends or family (or both)! I wish you all the best of everything. :-) ~hugs&kisses~

November 01, 2010

This time, it is first day of November (and in any place, it is already November 2) and it is called as "All Saints Day" . In Roman Catholic, it meant as it is the day for all the saints whereas on the second of November, it is called as "All Souls Day" as to commemorate souls in heaven who are already out of this world and be on eternal life. And so, I am just greeting you a Happy Halloween!

It maybe awkward to Americans, but I had not been able to attend that "Trick or Treat" event by kids or with parents around in the neighborhood or any where friends and family is present. Hopefully, I can get to join such game or neighbor bonding with my child (if God will give it to me and my DH) and having a parade of Halloween costumes in the neighborhood with their basket where to put their treats. :-) Happy Halloween!

CSJ
Happy Labor Day to all who celebrate with USA! This is a legal holiday here in US. There is no work. Let us celebrate, working individuals! I salute you of your labor!

How was everything? What is your plan for today? Have you been planning of grilling just in the house, having a party (be it as a family, small or big) or simply as bonding each other's family? What are the foods and drinks are you preparing? For me, we will just a simple one, I guess.

This is the time of celebrating the works we have. So let us celebrate! Woohoo!

September 01, 2010

September is the first month of "ber" months. Today is September 1, hence, it is the beginning day of "ber" months. I bet you too can smell the sounds and bells ringing for the eight dawns of Christmas. Did I say Christmas is coming? What is the significance and its essence, or at least for Christian believers? What about for Christmas season gift-givers, are you excited? Ha! I can say it is great if it is an exchange gift or yes to those who have a lot or extras. God bless to those kind-hearted ones. I am excluded as I do not have a lot. Ha ha ha! Greeting card is okay for me. That already exceeds my expectation (if you want to give me *wink). Okay, it is not all about me. This personal blog is not all about myself but personal thoughts. Got it? That's great! You are smart, yey!

And now let's go for the greeting. This blog and me (with my DH) is virtually greets you in a very advance "Merry Christmas" ! Oops, happy Halloween and happy Thanksgiving too! ;-) Am I the first one to greet you? I hope so. Let me know. I will be happy if you will tell me and is/are telling the truth. ;-)

Have a great first months "ber" day!

August 31, 2010

I can only remember one word as one online plurk friend of mine (Sakura) said and told as Tues as Choose as in Tuesday of Choose-day! It has more to it as it is a sentence (or rather sentences) but one thing I know, logically, we have to choose this day to be happy! As in choose this day to be happy, lovely and lively! Okay, not only Tuesday but throughout the whole week but Tuesday is more than to it as it sounded as rhyme on the two words few letters (Tues/Choose). Despite of the obstacles, we just have to choose what would make us happy (responsibly). It is great to work hard if we know there would be him/her/them who will appreciate despite the hardships. Well, hardships is always there, we just have to deal it. As Te Shaw's word and I define it on my own as we just have to embrace it as we embrace the good one happenings. It will go over down as there would always be rainbow after the rain. As long as we know what would make our hearts go fonder, then that is it! Keep the love (all kinds of love like filial love, friendship love, paternal, maternal, special kind of love, and all alike) and optimism burning!

Okay, that is all about it. I have to go now wash the clothes and few stuffs I bought yesterday for woman's need and will do some other chores whilst waiting for laundry machine to stop. God bless you all (as always)! :-) ~hugs&kisses~

rose for friends as Sunday greeting. from me and my blog thru photobucket images/ FMK LOGO

Me and my blog and my other blogs (*wink) with my dear husband just want to greet everyone a happy Sunday! I wish you all the best with the best of health in there. Be happy and enjoy life! May this day brings you joy and happiness as you bond with your behalf, love-one, kids, family or friends. As for me here, the weather is beautiful! It is neither hot nor windy. I have a great time walking lately at the same time brought few groceries as my DH brought it two days ago. So I only had to get hot links, corn flakes, milk, excedrin, banana and ice cream! What a day! Ralph's store is not far from where me and my DH live, it is just five to eight minutes to walk. So I had what we wanted and at the same time I had my exercise. Whew! Fun! So then, again wish you all the best and happy Sunday! ;-) ~hugs~

August 21, 2010

It is officially weekend here, as it is now Saturday. ;-) I would like to great you a formal, "happy weekend" folks! I hope everything's well on your side. About mine in here, the scorching heat of the sun for sunny California. Nevertheless, summer is here so we gotta enjoy it as the journey summer season continues. Not with the beach though but many are in there now, surely. Or just enjoy sun bathing anywhere. On the other hand, some wish it is already Fall but that is another story. Ha! Well, perhaps they just do not want to experience summer time but it just have to be or else the four cycles of America would not be completed or some other parts of the world (like Philippines), the two cycles (rainy and sunny weather) as just your side too, won't be completed without summer time.

Okay, that is all about it. To sum it up, just enjoy and have an extra care. Happy bonding with friends and family (as always)! Happy talking, chatting, eating and alike!

August 16, 2010

Hi folks, thanks for being here. How are you? How was your weekend? Mine was not a fruitful one but good thing I was able to relax my mind as well as my physique. It was quiet a pretty hot weekend which triggers my body to get about into trouble. I mean, I was about to catch a cold because of it. Ooh well. I just hope everything's great there on you despite of all the trials and struggles like mine. Well, as I always said and I believe trials and struggles will come-by. It may not very soon but it will, so let us just being hopeful and optimistic in our life's journey in general as what we do will echo unto us. :-) It is great and better that way, don't you think? ;-) Aright, seems like I was just from problems and alike huh! Whatever it is, I tell not to make people sad but lively despite all of it. I have shares of miseries and woes too not to mention embarrassments but that's life. We have to grow-up and learn from our mistakes and get rid of the person who cannot relate unto thee. :-) Let us choose how to live what we like and want in our life but of course with precautions and being responsible. *wink* And so with that, I have to say have a great Monday!

August 05, 2010

Hi folks, I just want to say hello and happy Thursday!

My yester-week (from the word yesterday week or commonly called "last week") was not good in terms of my Internet connection. I was not pretty sure the cause if it is my computer or my Internet Provider. Actually it is still as is until now though this day was not that very bad. It was already one week and one day today as talking about my intermittent connection problem. It is very frustrating which whenever I was online every 15 minutes it went off and I have to ping or diagnose it which it usually went back after five minutes and then again and again (so and so forth) the other days until it every 4:00 p.m. . Whenever I had something important to do online which I liked to wake up in the morning, I cannot because of what happened. Don't you think it is frustrating? Yep, super! Most of the times I am scheduling what to post or thought about it when just suddenly it was interrupted with my intermittent connection and so the thought was gone and had to go back again what I was thinking. I wanted to jump start so it went smoothly but most of the times I cannot. It is good if that is only what I do but I also have other stuffs, things and have to think to be done. And so! And the worst of all was that lately in the morning as I was dropping off the mails and had to buy stamps at the post office, I was about to collapse right at the post office. Ooh my gosh! That was so shameful but time called for it. It was an accident which I knew it would have to be like that but unfortunately I cannot hold the time. I jogged, ran for an exercise but I stopped directly while my body did not coped it up yet with the fast heart beat. And so the light, bright surroundings just turned gray and dark. I was pale and weak due to sudden stop of my jogging and running activity. I thought I gonna died. It was completely black. Good thing the USPS are very kind. They let me sat with their hands on my shoulders to comfort me. They called 911 (I heard though my body was weak, I was able to tell I was okay, I just need rest. But without my knowing they called. Five minutes after I was fine but our city's USPS manager didn't want me to since 911 health assistance was coming to check for me. That was time I knew they pursue the call. I respect them and I thought also it was good for my body so I can rest more. And so five minutes after five minutes 911 arrived, they're more than five but less than 10. They checked my blood, put four patches on my body for my blood pressure and checked my heart beat. Asked personal questions and my ID. I was obedient. After few more minutes, I signed the paper for being checked and signed the waiver that I was fine with my confirmation since I do not want to get into hospital for emergency or even dropped into our home. Because I knew I am fine already. Thanks to the very nice USPS people in our city, very immediate responsive 911, very nice folks. Thanks am fine and still alive. I have to rest after some more minor chores after this. More details next time should you like to know and be informed should you it will not happen to you. Thankful and happy Thursday! Have a great one, enjoy the rest of the week for weekend is fast approaching, have an extra care! ~hugs&kisses~

July 25, 2010

Just leaving something before I am heading off to church for a Sunday five o'clock afternoon mass for today. As I can remember, Sunday eleven morning mass is my favorite time hearing the words of God through the bible. Though I was not used to go an 11 a.m. mass as while I was still back in country home but surprisingly I easily adopted it here. And now, for two times in a row, I like more attending this afternoon (going night time) mass. Why? It was because there is a pretty young girl's voice band. Nope, I am not in church just for that but it brings more great ambiance. Yep, not because of the four-seasons banana cake below which is my favorite. ;-) It just feels like a sort of. :)
Align Center
I bought that yummy foodies above so I do not know how to make it but surely it is yum-o! Signing-off now. I leave that sweet deliciously cook foodies above. I have to prepare myself for such an important and great Sunday celebration -- bonding with God and great folks. Ciao for that banana cakes! ;-) Happy Sunday (or Monday to other parts of the globe) all! :-) ~hugs&kisses~

Today is America's birthday. As in, this day is the day which every Americans, America residents or to those who are celebrating is commemorating the independence day which America was declared as a nation and got its name. Family and friends are gathering for a get-together, barbecue, dance, concert especially fireworks display and many more others as for the name of celebrating. Thanks to those who fought for their lives just for this nation to be freed from any circumstances to be declared as a great nation. Let us not forget but give back to those who give their all. Have fun! ~muahhugs~

You just can't go wrong without thinking that somebody would surprise me on my birthday. I didn't really expect of it because I wasn't even yet give back to what she gave me last valentines day and now she sent me birthday gifts again. How was that? Won't you be surprised especially if her gifts are all gorgeous? Yep, I bet you it's pretty all awesome in person... I so love it that much that I can't help but so grateful of this blogger friend of mine, so grateful of her presence. Though we haven't yet meet in person but seems we were friends since back then... Ooh well.. it was just one year ago and in just one instance we're already clicked with each other. Do you know the feeling of friendship being "click" with each other? If you know, you can then tell how it is. Yep, it is not that easy to find a friend that you can be with each other, online that is, but you have that such friendship bond that more than an in person ones. Ooh well, she(Demcy)'s full of generosity, thoughtfulness and kindness. I appreciate it that much! Here's what she gave me.
a beautiful cute lavender(my fave color) and blue(color of the year) blouse

Above is another pretty cute lavender racer back shirt, look at the print (Friends fun and peace sign, this coincides with my jersey lavender jersey shorts --- great for hot summer)! Isn't it that pretty? Yes, it is! ;-) It's prettier in person, really it is.

Two pretty "TooFaced" glamorous lip glosses, lavender cute hooked earrings (which I wear until now, my ears are that choosy but this earrings suits its choosiness that's why it's my fave casual hook stone earrings plus it's gorgeous lavender color --- she got my weakness when it comes to pretty lavender ;-) Thanks a lot madam sis Dhemz!

And her beautiful lovely birthday card and a wonderful sweet message

I know words are not enough to express my gratefulness and no beyond expression I can tell but you know how lucky I am to have a friend like you. I know you are great but I have to say you are awesomely best. I really appreciate your kindness and such ({I hope to keep up on your birthday... ;-). I know that if you give, you don't expect in return but I will try my best to keep up on your special day, bday on August}. Thanks a lot! You are awesomely best! God bless you more and as always... Lab yah.. :-) ~hugs&kisses~

Aww.. should I say Happy? or sad... Hemmm.. I guess for fun I should say happy but for seriously thought, am sad to those fools who are more fool than smart, eh? :) Well, I believe that we have our own unique foolish way just for a joke or to crack up a little bit, as some said "it's a way to broader our funny side and to somewhat like stop aging".. :) yeah, but that is all about it. Nothing to make it long or bring to our inner brain. That's just for fun, not to be taken seriously or else you will be fool.. LOL..

Photobucket

By the way, I remember we (relatives, friends and neighbors) in Philippines used to celebrate Fools Day during December 28. I cannot forget because it is after the fiesta of Hubangon, Mahinog. :) And then as I am here in US of A, its April 1. So, I got used with this April 1 every year as April Fools Day. So to everybody, remember this date so you will not be fooled by anyone else, even if it is just only a joke. *winkz*... kidding aside but it is really great if we know what most folks celebrate such day, right? So that is it folks, I was not being fooled lately but there's one blog that looks like it is true and if you are not aware, you will say like "ooh! or really?" ooh yeah... :) The good thing for good people who crack up is that they used to tell you that they are doing it for that (because it is April Fools Day) at the end of the post or story. When it is on actual story, the teller/the other party will tell you at the beginning or at the end and mostly both so the recipient will aware of what's going on. A recipient also must have his/her idea. So, Happy April Fools Day! :)

Happy 1st Anniversary Food Trip Friday (FTF)!

Yeah, Food Trip Friday food meme is now on its first year. Hoorah! Should we have to lit up the fireworks, have some roasted pig, desserts, sweets, appetizers, big meals, wine, martinelli and all that foods and drinks? Yep, why not! After all, this fun food trip meme is all about foods and you will just supply drinks and cakes, okay? :-) You're all invited for a blogging food party! *wink*... yeah, just post your foods and you are all good with it. Let us have some fun every Friday especially this day.

Since its just minutes ago that I know this day is FTF first anniversary, I haven't got my thing but instead I just have only what is available in the house. So I just have pork liver here. I know some do not like this food but I also know that many like especially me. :) Hehehe.. So this was turned into bring-your-own food. :) My share is this:

pork liver stew

Sorry for the mess on its sides. I cannot helped the sauce to whisk anywhere to which I was excited to eat such. Sorry about that if you feel something. So anyway, yeah that is pork liver stew, my first time to cook such but absolutely not my first time to eat. I so love this food and I craved this a lot. Am glad I cooked it right the first time --- it was what the taste I longed for. God helped me cooked such. :) Thanks God. I put a lot of different fresh bell pepper colors from red, green, orange and yellow. Then onion and garlic with a bit of soy sauce and a dash of salt with little water. I did not also cook it long for the liver is soft enough and when you will cook it longer it will take time to soften it or else it is like a rubber-band. So then, have fun and let us start the party! I am already hungry... :) Enjoy!

Monday! It's typical workers' first day today, it's also typical Musical Monday entry memory. For now, I gonna feature a "Happy Birthday" song in advance honor of some special persons of my life who will celebrate next week. First is my husband dear, then my father on the 16th, my mother on the 22nd, and my "gone" step grandmother (who raised me) on the 18th. I put it on the last because I believe the birthday of the "gone" will be changed to their death anniversary. So instead I celebrating her birthday on his actual birthdate, I (we---her family) am celebrating it on 18th. So, I include her in here. Birthday is so special to me, so I am greeting them in advance (though I presume they're not a regular reader on this journal or perhaps won't read this)---this is to acknowlege and salute who the kind of people they are to me. This is just words but appear to be very significant to me. You are dear and love! So here's the song for you... I don't care if you call me dramatic. Sometimes it needs like this to show appreciation. Here it is from me (through the singer Beyonce) is singing:

I love receiving postcards. Who doesn't? :-) ... perhaps some just don't but mostly loves receiving it and am one of those. It's pretty nice to receive especially when it comes from different countries or just from friends, families, and some from business partners in the neighborhood. For me, postcards are cool. It creates an idea of good communication and thought of both the receiver and the giver. It is different when you receive a creative unique idea of what the message is all about. Most businesses find a cool way of pleasing their customers, they will send out some postcard. Like if you have a dental appointment or some, they will remind you of either through phone call or sending out one so you won't forget the time and date. It's somewhat like customary already to many of them. You will sometimes surprise that there are advertisements and invitation on your mailbox through such. It's a pretty way of communicating. Well for me, I love it when friends and families send me such and I even becoming it as a hobby like stamp collection, exchanging post cards or buying ones to satisfy my collection stuff. What about you, do you love collecting postcards?
